The phrases
내일 갈 거예요
naeil gal geoyeyo
I'll go tomorrow
Drop 다, add -(으)ㄹ 거예요. 가다 → 갈 거예요, 먹다 → 먹을 거예요.
뭐 할 거예요?
mwo hal geoyeyo?
What are you going to do?
하다 → 할 거예요. The same ending as above, on the most common verb there is.
제가 할게요
jega halgeyo
I'll do it
-(으)ㄹ게요 is a promise TO the listener, which is why it only works in the first person.
곧 도착할 거예요
got dochakal geoyeyo
I'll be there soon
곧 = soon. 도착하다 = to arrive, another ~하다 verb.
다음에 또 올게요
daeume tto olgeyo
I'll come again next time
또 = again. 오다 → 올게요.
언제 다시 만날까요?
eonje dasi mannalkkayo?
When shall we meet again?
-(으)ㄹ까요? proposes something and asks the other person to decide.
내년에 한국에 갈 거예요
naenyeone hanguge gal geoyeyo
I'm going to Korea next year
내년 = next year, 작년 = last year, 올해 = this year.
조금 있다가 전화할게요
jogeum itdaga jeonhwahalgeyo
I'll call you in a bit
조금 있다가 = in a little while. Very common in messages.
잊지 않을게요
itji aneulgeyo
I won't forget
The long negative -지 않다, put into a promise: -지 않을게요.
열심히 하겠습니다
yeolsimhi hagesseumnida
I'll do my best
-겠- adds intention and a little humility. 열심히 = diligently.
걱정하지 마세요
geokjeonghaji maseyo
Please don't worry
-지 마세요 = 'please don't'. It is the negative of a request, not of a statement.
기다릴게요
gidarilgeyo
I'll wait
기다리다 → 기다릴게요.
한국에 가려고 해요
hanguge garyeogo haeyo
I'm planning to go to Korea
-(으)려고 하다 = intend to. 갈 거예요 is a decision; 가려고 해요 is a plan you might still change.
내일 만나기로 했어요
naeil mannagiro haesseoyo
We've agreed to meet tomorrow
-기로 하다 = decide or agree to. Almost always in the past (했어요), because the deciding already happened.
저는 물 마실래요
jeoneun mul masillaeyo
I'll have water
-(으)ㄹ래요 = what I feel like doing. Turn it into a question and it's an offer: 커피 마실래요? = fancy a coffee?
