Kaja Hangul (kajahangul.com) is a small Korean-learning app. This page explains, in plain language, what data it collects and the terms of use.

What we collect

Your email address — to create your account, verify it, and let you reset your password.
Your password — stored only as a secure one-way hash (bcrypt). We never store or see your actual password.
Your learning progress — streak, XP, and which phrases/letters you've studied — so it syncs across your devices.
Basic technical logs — standard server logs (e.g. timestamps, error messages) used to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

Only to run the app: signing you in, syncing your progress, sending account emails (verification and password reset), and preventing abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Cookies

We use a single essential, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies. Bot protection on signup is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile.

Third parties

Email is delivered through a transactional email provider, and the site is served via Cloudflare. These providers process the minimum data needed to deliver those functions.

Your control over your data

You can delete your account at any time from the app (the "delete account" link), which permanently removes your account, email, and all stored progress.

Terms of use

Kaja Hangul is provided as-is, with no warranty, as a personal learning project. Please use it lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt or abuse the service. Access may be limited or removed for abuse. These terms may change; continued use means you accept the current version.
