The phrases
날씨가 더워요
nalssiga deowoyo
It's hot (weather)
ㅂ IRREGULAR: 덥다 → 더워요. The ㅂ turns into 우 before an ending. Also 춥다 → 추워요 (cold).
김치가 매워요
gimchiga maewoyo
Kimchi is spicy
Same ㅂ irregular: 맵다 → 매워요. You already met 맵지 않아요, where the ㅂ stays put.
음악을 들어요
eumageul deureoyo
I listen to music
ㄷ IRREGULAR: 듣다 → 들어요. The ㄷ becomes ㄹ before a vowel.
많이 걸었어요
mani georeosseoyo
I walked a lot
Same ㄷ irregular: 걷다 → 걸었어요. Careful — 걸다 (to hang) is a different verb.
배가 고파요
baega gopayo
I'm hungry
ㅡ DROPS: 고프다 → 고파요. The ㅡ vanishes and the ending takes the vowel of the syllable before it.
너무 바빠요
neomu bappayo
I'm swamped
Same ㅡ drop: 바쁘다 → 바빠요. So do 쓰다 → 써요 and 예쁘다 → 예뻐요.
잘 몰라요
jal mollayo
I don't really know
르 IRREGULAR: 모르다 → 몰라요. The ㅡ drops AND an extra ㄹ appears.
노래를 불러요
noraereul bulleoyo
I sing a song
Same 르 irregular: 부르다 → 불러요. Also 빠르다 → 빨라요 (fast).
집을 지어요
jibeul jieoyo
They're building a house
ㅅ IRREGULAR: 짓다 → 지어요. The ㅅ simply disappears before a vowel.
이제 나았어요
ije naasseoyo
I got better
Same ㅅ irregular: 낫다 → 나았어요. 낫다 means both 'to recover' and 'to be better'.
어디에 사세요?

Where do you live?
ㄹ DROPS: 살다 → 사세요. Before ㄴ, ㅂ or ㅅ the ㄹ falls away entirely.
문을 여세요
muneul yeoseyo
Please open the door
Same ㄹ drop: 열다 → 여세요, not 열으세요.
